On December 17, 2019, the Post and Auxiliary presented a certificate and award check to our Teacher of the Year. This year's Post winner is Kelly Schuler, a 5th Grade teacher at Bryan Road Elementary School in Garner. Kelly also won at the District 7 level, and her application is now being judged at the State level.

On hand was the our local Chairmen, Jeff Hicks and Helen Carter who prsented the award.
