Memorial Day Ceremony - 2011
The Post conducted our two annual ceremonies on Memorial Day - May 30, 2011. Both ceremonies commemorated the sacrifices of fallen comrades.
Special sepeaker for the event at the Veterans section of Montlawn Memorial Park in Raleigh was US Representative Renee Ellmers, 2nd Congressional District. After the services were completed at noon, we raised the flags back to full staff.
Special sepeaker for the event at the site of the future Veterans Memorial at Lake Benson Park was Garner Town Mayor Ronnie Williams.
