This year's Post Memorial Day events were a little different from prior years. We held a program at both Montlawn Memorai Park and the Garner Veterans Memorial. Both were short, with a smaller crowd. But we took the time to honor our veterans in a respectful manner.

At Montlawn Memorial Park we had enough members to raise all 7 of the service flags there back to full staff, after a short service which included laying a wreath, and releasing some doves. (see the video).

Then at the Garner Veterans Memorial, there was a larger group, most of which were not there for the service. They came to visit the memorial. But they stayed and reverently enjoyed the service. (see the video).
