Each year, at the Garner Veterans' Memorial, we put up a Gold Star Tree, to remember all of the service members from Garner who were killed the the service of their county. The tree contains a star for each service member klled. At the Memorial, there is a marker for each decade identifing the conflict going on at that time. Below are pictures of members of the Garner Veterans Memorial Committee putting up the tree and a wreath for the various branches of the serivce that those who died were a membmer of.
