• The National VFW Auxiliary offers scholarships at the National level to assist Auxiliary members who wish to further their education by pursuing a college degree or a career direction at technical school. The spouse, daughter, and son of a member ONLY are also eligible to apply. Complete the application in full and MAIL as directed to Director of Programs, VFW Auxiliary VFW National Headquarters, 406 W. 34th St. 10th Floor, Kansas City, Mo. 64111 so that it is received by February 15.


• We also have several scholarships for the families of our NC Post and Auxiliary members who plan to go to college in NC. Applications are due for each of these by February 15. If a student wins both, they will get the one with the higher dollar value.
  
  
  • Several Erline Mayberry Scholarships are offered by the Auxiliary each year. They are named in honor of Eriline Mayberry, the only NC National Presidet that served the Auxiliary. These are each a one time award of $1,000. Download the application here.
    
    
  • The Cameron and Brown scholarships are offered from the VFW. These are both 4 year scholarships, each awarded in honor of one of our past National Commanders-in-Chief from NC, Billy Ray Cameron and Otis N. Brown. One Cameron and one Brown scholarship is awarded each year, each for $1,000 per year for four years. The same application form is used to apply for both of the VFW scholarships.   Since the qualifications are the same for the NC VFW and Auxiliary scholarships, we suggest that students apply for both. Winners will only get one - the one with the higher value. But applying for both will increase your chances.
